On Sunday night US time, I went live on YouTube with Ryan Baggott, the founder of ChatbotBuilder AI and PayMeGPT. The session was called The New Way to Build AI Systems, and for an hour and forty five minutes we showed, live and unscripted, how the work of building business AI has completely changed.
The old way is already gone
For years, building a chatbot or an automation system meant assembling it piece by piece. You opened a flow builder, dragged nodes onto a canvas, connected conditions, tested every branch, and repeated that for days. I built my first systems that way, and I said so on the live: my first proper build took me hours of thinking through every step, because you had to understand the goal, the structure, and every individual piece before anything worked.
That era is over.
The new way looks like this: you describe the outcome to an AI agent that is connected to your platform through tools, and the agent builds the system for you. The agent, the website widget, the flows, the webhooks, the spreadsheet, the landing page. All of it, from one well-written prompt.
What we built live, in real time
Ryan demonstrated this in the most direct way possible. Starting from nothing but a request, he had an AI build a complete campaign system live on stream: an AI agent with an embedded website chat widget, a Google Sheet wired up to collect leads, a flow with webhook and SMS alerts, and a landing page published to the web. One prompt, watched by a live audience, no editing, mistakes and fixes included.
He deliberately ran it on one of the cheapest AI models available, to make a point I fully agree with: the power is no longer in the model you pick. The tooling and the prompt do the heavy lifting. He then ran the same prompt through three different AI platforms side by side to prove the approach is not tied to any single provider.
And because no good live stream is complete without chaos, the session ended with an AI hiring pipeline built on the spot. It called Ryan's phone, interviewed him for a job at a fictional Fiji seafood company, scored his answers, and rejected him on air. Funny, yes. But underneath the joke was a serious capability: a voice AI running a real structured interview, scoring candidates, and acting on the result, built in minutes.
The story I shared: a real client build from Fiji
When Ryan asked me how I use this new way of working, I told the audience about a recent client meeting here in Fiji. A construction business wanted their systems built out. I recorded the meeting with their permission, had it transcribed, and dropped the transcript into an AI agent connected to my platform tools with a simple instruction: this is where we are, this is what the client wants, how do we build it.
The agent built the system out within minutes per component. I checked each piece, corrected where needed, and moved to the next step. The entire build was ready to show the client within 30 to 40 minutes. Not a mock-up. The working system.
That is what I mean when I say AI agency work has changed. The value is no longer in the hours spent assembling software. It is in knowing what to build, judging whether it is right, and understanding the business problem well enough to describe it precisely.
What this means for Fiji businesses
Everything we demonstrated on that live is available to businesses here in Fiji today. This is the exact approach we use at Limitless Marketing to deliver AI chatbots, automation systems, and complete custom builds for local businesses, from resorts to retailers to service firms.
The practical upshot for a Fiji business owner:
- Systems that used to take weeks of development are now scoped, built, and demonstrated in days
- The cost of a working AI system has dropped because build time has collapsed
- You can see a working version of your system before committing, not a slide deck
- The same system can run your website chat, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and phone calls
